BEREA, Ohio - Without speaking his name, Cleveland Browns coach Romeo Crennel indicated there’s a player available who can step in if Ken Dorsey can’t fill the backup quarterback role behind Charlie Frye.

Here’s a hint: He’s 42 and played for Cleveland a decade ago.

“I’ve got a guy in mind who knows the system,” Crennel said Sunday. “He might be a little older than I am, but he can still line up.”

I'd rather have Doug Flutie.

Testaverde is the walking dead!

Id rather have Testeverde soley because he is tall and is still a capable QB.

Flutie on the other hand, is retired I believe. Even if he wasnt, he is pretty much done as a QB.

yea, Flutie retired after this past season, he is damn near 45 i think.

Testaverde is retired as well. But they are the same to me either way.

Hey, why dont we take Bearnie out of retirement. lol

Because Vinnie actually showed he still had some skill left in him when he came out last year to QB the Jets.

Vinny :chuckles:
