Well I fell really good about that Nick Harris pick right about now.

Let's hope Tretter gets healthy. A raw rookie taken in the fifth who doesn't get a normal training camp or pre-season and has to play day 1 at center in the NFL isn't exactly a recipe for success... but it's a lot better than our options before we drafted him.

That was a very smart value pick. Perfect scheme fit, got him cheaply. Obviously still terrifying as hell if he has to start...but way better than the alternative.

You really have to imagine there is going to be a lot more personnel turmoil on a lot of teams this season because of Covid, the lack of camps, etc.. The ability of the coaches and FO to manage that is going to be critical for a lot of teams.

At least it happened now, if it were going to.

Sounds like JC should be back but the team will now get an extended look at Harris, really early in training camp.

If they deem he is just not ready, can potentially seek a vet center insurance policy via trade.

I agree, that's not something you want to hear about a veteran player.

And no way is he going to play the rest of his career here, that's fantasy land talk.
