BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sign Earl Thomas

He’s going to Texas, be it Dallas or Houston.

Absolutely brutal injuries for us. Defense already hurting and will likely be a shell of itself by week 5.

I’m still calling and trying to sign him. Steal him from BAL.

Today's practice we were missing: Greedy, Delpit, Johnson, Mitchell, and Joseph.

We had Sendejo and Redwine out there. Joseph should be good to go for the start of the season but we're looking super thin at safety.

Just give Earl Thomas a massive one year deal. This defense was already looking rough and they've now lost Wilson, Delpit, K Johnson, and Billings.

Greedy Williams, Denzel Ward, and Olivier Vernon are made of glass. Hope this offense is ready to score 30ppg.
At this point, I think you have to go after Thomas. Or perhaps explore some sort of trade.

We already had the worst LB group in the league, without Delpit this is almost certainly the worst Safety group in the league as well.

This defense is looking paper thin to start the season. And to your point, several of the core pieces don't have the greatest injury history.

Baker better bounce back in a big way or this will be another rough season.

There is no meaningful upgrade available to the Browns on the FA market.

And not only is Earl Thomas not in our reach, I'm not sure he's a guy you want to put in this locker room.

Remember that one year we were so banged up we had WR Mike Furrey starting at safety for some games?

With the way things are looking I sure hope Damion Ratley knows how to tackle.

I get that losing Delpit is a blow, but let's not panic and get desperate for anyone. What I'm seeing about Earl Thomas is... not good. Dude was skipping meetings left and right.

I remember when that guy was getting talked about as a 2nd rounder.

I loved Weaver, but he wasn't for everyone. Honestly stunned he was cut, though. I think he has a place in the NFL, no doubt.

Has Eric Berry worked out at all this season? I remember a article early this year saying he didn’t play in 2019 because he was trying to get physically and mentally ready not due to lack of interest. I know it’s a reach, just wondering if he has done even one work out for another team?

might we well try him. IIRC he wasn’t ready to play last year. He was still rehabbing but I remember seeing something earlier in the year that he was ready to go.
