Antonio Bryant being so high on that receiving yards list...

What's even more astonishing is that, at the time he accomplished it, it was the 6th highest single season total lol

NFL record for punts in a season is 114.

Colquitt is on pace for 123 this season.

Sadness.

Think that Gordon record will ever be broken?
For sure. The league has shown nothing to make me believe it isn't going to keep trending towards more and more hyper offense and rules favoring offensive play

Also I do believe at some point the season gets increased to 18 games

I mean, not a single WR in the NFL topped 1600 yards last year, and Adam Thielen is the only one on pace to do it this year, but he's also on pace for an absurd 200+ targets.

It's not an easy record to beat, especially as teams continue to spread the ball around.

Edit: Julio is on pace this season too, but just barely. I doubt he makes it.

Ever is a long time though, buddy boy. I tend to air on the side of "it'll be broken" for most counting records for one reason or another. Now there's obviously many exceptions, but I'd be shocked if that record stands the test of time. Hell, who expected Josh Gordon to do it the first time? And with no QB?

True. Ever is a long time, but that's still a tough record to break.

I was also wrong about last year. Antonio Brown and Julio both broke 1600 yards last season. Issue is I was looking at Fleaflicker's stats and the base stats ignore week seventeen since it's not fantasy relevant.

Still, those are two all-time great WR talents. Tough to end up with one of those.

Barring injury or a crazy slump or a crazy high, Baker will likely end up between 4th and 7th for single season passing yards, and might crack the top 10 in passing touchdowns.

OP Updated.

*Baker has the most TD passes since Brandon Weeden's 14 in 2012.

That’s so remarkably sad

Hoping Baker gets to 3386+ passing yards to knock Weeden off the leaderboard for passing yards

Man buddy boy has the chance to basically be the entire top 10 for some of these lists if he continues to develop into a FQB. 10 4,000 yard seasons is pretty standard for a FQB in today’s nfl.
