Browns trade Fowler

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
that's fine, they seem to have made room for Friz and CJ in the past so I think Rideau will get his chance, if not this year ? he'll be on this team next year.

In fact, I think he will be the #3 guy next year... Showing D-CUTT the door, as Romeo has said, Rideau has been the most impressive cleveland brown this summer.. He'll find his way on the squad..

As far as the other guys, whatever, I don't really care too much.

If he was that impressive, he would beon the roster. Which he isnt..

He is too small..

Bryant easily had the best camp of any Brown.

Its a pretty bold statement to say he will show Cutt the door, when Cutt is a proven return man, a proven slot reciever, a proven WR that isnt afraid to cross the middle..

I dont think Cutt is going anywhere, much less replaced by a practice squad guy.

There is one of these guys every year, and they never pan out. CJ Jones...Ben Gay..Alston...some "David" reaches out to be the next big thing, when in reality, the most we can hope for is a bench WR like Frisman Jackson. (But he has very good size, which is why he made it.)

pippen i dont know what you have been reading but we have a coach that would never say that to another player. why would northcutt want to play with the browns this year if RAC said he was gone next year.

denis is one of the best 3rd down slot recievers in the nfl and it would be a step in the wrong direction for the browns.

Huh? The guy's an ok reciever, but you've got your brown and orange glasses on.

And getting excited about guys on the practice squad is like getting excited about the second stringers on the Cavs summer league team.

I'd say 'cutt is one of the bestest 3rd receivers in the league.

I'm surprised we traded Fowler, I don't think we have a back up center on our roster now. That other guy, nat, is huge though, a monster, looks like a good trade. We'll see what we can make of him..

Dennis reminds me a lot of Brian Brennan. The guy is clutch when it counts, runs his routes better then anyone on the team and has pretty soft hands.

i dont know where i could find the stat but i remeber reading that he had one of the best coversions of any reciever. converting a 3rd down to a first. hence he would be one of the best 3rd down recievers in the game.

First off, Rideau has incredible size.. One must have the knowledge of the subject in order to participate in discussion. (just a tad taller then northcutt if you ask me)
# 1 Brandon Rideau
Position: WR
Height: 6-3
Weight: 200

With cribbs getting better, he could become the 3rd down/slot guy, and he also returns punts and kickoffs (thus, he could be Dennis's replacement)

And I never said he was the best player in camp, but when asked who was the most "IMPRESSIVE" he said RIDEAU... I'm pretty sure that is what I typed as well, don't remember typing "BEST" but if that's what you saw ? OKAY..

So in conclusion- Rideau has Size (6-3) he has incredible hands, makes for another redzone option.. And he will IMO just My Opinion will make the team..

Why do I think he'll be on the team ? He's seems very talented at Wiiiiiiiide Reciiiiiiiiiever.

Glad to clear that up.

OK, how good is Frisman? The answer is not very. Frisman is on the team, Rideau isn't. Who made that decision? Crennel and Savage, two guys who've watched the two WRs play alot more than any of us have. Now get off his Rideau's johnson a go have a cup cake. :chuckles:

Don't start with me Rocket, cause it will end badly for you.

Friz is a very solid special teams player, that is why he is on the team...I don't know about rideau's special team capabilities.. But I do believe he is a better reciever then Friz.

That is why they had alston on the team last year for the same reason...

Get it, Got it, Good :)

I'm sure Rideau is as good as Randy Moss. Which is why he didn't make the team. :king:

FYI - The new depth chart is out, and Mike Pucillo is the backup center: link

To my knowledge, no official depth chart has been released.

Im on DawgTalk everyday and havent seen it, (well the #1 RB atleast...)

The Browns included a new version of the team's "unofficial" depth chart in their weekly press released today.

Apparently it's not "official", but it is from the team...

And oh yeah, you should check out BerniesInsiders link. Great browns site.
