Romeo has said that the QB situatuion will be a "Game Time" decision. So, what does that mean? It means that he wants the Jaguars to prepare for 2 QBs.

But what is the real point? Who is going to god damn start at QB.

On Friday, Frye Dulfer shared the snaps 50/50.

Dufler is starting to "feel better." So what does that mean? He will go in, start the game, gets hurt in the first QRT, then Frye goes in.

Rube gets 1,000.

Frye has two TDs to Braylon, he also had two long passes to Bryant that were dropped.

Frye is doing well, not great. He is a tad tardy on his throws but its probably because he is wearing a glove because of the weather.

Other than that, he is doing very good. If he keeps this up, Dilfer aint playing again

go browns :) good to see charlie getting some time even though the fucking bengals/steelers game is on down here in columbus, DAMNIT

what a terrible second half.

i dont care what anyone says, the refs screwed us big time today.

edwards looks to be out for the year. i really felt like throwing up when i saw that play.

I heard it on the radio at work and I'm like well thats for the season, we can't ever catch a break it's getting to the point where I'm not going to great lenghts to see or hear the browns anymore. Different teams, different stadiums, different days same result LOSS.

Godawful 2nd half.

Say all you want how the officiating killed us. It wasn't that bad.

Our defense was the main culprit. Plain and simple. Our secondary had no answer for the passing game. No pass rushing. Plenty of time. That was 2 TD's in a matter of minutes.

Then... we make a good push and force them 3rd and 19. We'd have 2 minutes left to run the ball up the field. What do we do? Let him scramble right up the middle. 1st down. Terrible. Ugly. Disgusting.

Frye looked pretty good. Too bad Braylon got injured, but, c'est la vie.

-A push off foul on Braylan within five yards. Thrown while he was being tackled (a good three seconds after contact). Out of field goal range.

-A 15 yard personal foul on Andre Davis (love tivo - didn't even grab facemask)

-Bryant catch? The player 5 yards away called him in, the ref 20 yards downfield overruled him.

I could write more but I'm too lazy. The officiating was pathetic. The Browns are not a good team, but the stripes were awful today.

Frye was pretty good today but it was a tale of 2 halves for him. 1st half he looked solid, 2nd half he looked like an inexperienced rookie. Also, 2 of his big 1st half completions came because the DB slipped and fell down. At this point I wouldn't have any problem with him starting the rest of the way though.

Browns 1st round jinx continues with Edwards going down. That sucks since he could use the game experience he'd get the rest of the season and because you hate to see a player at a speed position suffer what could be a major knee injury.

Browns need an upgrade in the secondary. Of course Baxter being out doesn't help. Would be nice if they were getting anything from rookies Brodney Pool and Antonio Perkins.

our secondary isnt the problem, its the lack of a pass rush.

frye was amazing out their and i dont know where some of you think he played decent. i bet you dilfer would not have put up 14 points in the first half.

in the second half recievers dropped passes which negated drives. as well their was penalities.

he had 2 td and no picks for his first start, thats damn good.

Frye is doing well, not great.

Are U Serious? Are you kidding me?

What did u expect to see? This was a FANTASTIC GAME for Frye. No INTs, no forced throws, 226 yards and 2 TDs. What more do you want/expect from the first game of a ROOKIE?

Ya, in the second half he didn't look as good, but that is more due to the Jaguars second half adjustment. And even then, Frye did nothing stupid or force anything. He took the sack. Most the time he was blind sided in those sacks.

If you go back, and look at the tape of the game, you'll see that the Jaguars sent only 4-5 players on the blitz most of the time when they sacked Frye, and send the rest on coverage. The problem was that our O-Line got beat by 4-5 blitzing players. Thus, Charlie had to deal with double coverage on his receivers, and the blitz coming.

Lets not forget that this is the same D that made Payton Manning look like a fool in WEEK 2. Payton had like a 44.something QB raiting.

You bet your ass that this was a GREAT game for Charlie.

One, there is no such thing as a great game for a QB that loses.

Two, his passes weren't on. He struggled to hit his target. Every long ball he threw was under thrown, which was the knock on him coming into the NFL. He doesnt have the strongest arm, and it showed. He was also behind a lot of passes on short routes and slants. The first drop AB had shoulda been caught, but it shouldnt have been behind him as well.

Three, he was game planned on, he had a bunch of yards in the first half and not so many in the second half. So my guess is Jax was expecting Dilfer, and didnt really do much til they figured out what Frye was doing.

But he played smart. He didnt force passes likehe has stepping in and in pre-season. He scrambled for a first down and showed mobility, thats a positive.

He had a nice little game, far from great....but a nice game for a rookie. We can only hope he builds on that and learns how to figure out defenses before they figure him out.

I can dig, I just mean that it is a rookie we are talking about, and in my book, that rookie played a great FIRST game.

And I don't thing it has too much to do with figuring Frye out. It is our damn O-Line. They got beat by the Jaguars' D-Line.

For a rookie, first start, no doubt he had a good game.

But he was still underthrowing passes, badly. His TD passes were lucky, triple coverage and Bray somehow came up with it. The second one, he threw behind him on a slant where the DB happened to fall down.

He underthrew AB on a pass that he still caught, denied on review, i thought he clearly caught and because of that, when he underthrows Bray on his next pass, he tears his ACL..

He had his moments, but he still has to put it all together and get those little timing routes down. The long ball will come later. Then learn to read the DL a lil better.

All of the major knocks on him can be easily explained...

His timing with the receivers will improve the more snaps he has with them, he hasn't seen regular snaps since college.

He was underthrowing on the deep balls because of the glove he was wearing due to the cold weather, everyone should know throwing a football with anything but your bare hand on the ball feels akward and gives you less power in throwing it. He needs to buck up and take it off, this is Cleveland it's gonna be cold just stay bare handed.

I liked his mobility, he was sacked yes but did he run with the ball flailing in the open like Dilfer? No he secured it, and took off when necessary something Dilfer can't do. He has some good speed too, no Vick but no Dilfer either.

Finally you can't be too hard on the kid it's his first pro game, and against a good team like Jacksonville where they sit at 8-3 or 9-3 something like that. Plus they have a stellar defense, they have a solid secondary and a good line...had they had Donavin Darius healthy they would have been tougher. Good game everything will come together after Charlie and the Wr's get their timing down.
