Why the Bucks brought TERRY PORTER back for another try: It pleases MICHAEL REDD . "We were all pulling for him to come back," the free agent said. "I know this team had the potential to do better than we did last year. We weren't what our record indicated; we were a lot better than that. There were a lot of games we lost at the buzzer, a lot of injuries, the chemistry was shaken a bit. We'll make some changes." And yes, he added, re-signing with the Bucks is his first choice, though Cleveland also figures to throw near-max money at him.The Bucks are leaning toward ANDREW BOGUT with the top pick ("We certainly need a low-post presence," GM LARRY HARRIS admits), but if they take MARVIN WILLIAMS , that could expose their free agent plans. Even before they re-sign Redd, the Bucks have the cap space to make a substantial offer to ZYDRUNAS ILGAUSKAS .

This is all hypethetical stuff, but it is a posibilty.

I guess I could see them taking Z away from us. Ford, Mo Williams, Mason, Redd, Marvin Williams, Joe Smith, Z-That could be enough good pieces for them to get to the playoffs. I hope it doesnt happen.

It only takes one team to screw up our off season. And we definately can't let Z go to someone in our own division. That will spell trouble down the road.

Seeing Z 5 times a season playing for another team isn't something we need. If Z goes anywhere, I hope it's out West.

I think Z could have a say in where he goes and I don't think he wants to play for a team that was worse then the Cavs last year.

That is one vital thing for people to remember to thinking up your sign and trade deals involving Ilgauskas. Z has to agree on the destination, otherwise he will not sign the contract.

I don't see the Bucks spending their $$$ on Big Z when they're gonna take Bogut with the first pick in the draft. I don't see them drafting Marvin Williams. But it might possible that the Bucks go after Ilgauskas and trade away their first pick overall for another proven veteran.
Redd, Big Z and a proven veteran and the Bucks will be in the playoffs next year.

How could they sign BOTH Z and Redd? Wouldn't Redd's cap hold eat up most of their cap space much like Z takes up most of the Cavs' cap space preventing them from signing anyone until they've dealt with Redd? Or am I missing something here?

If the Bucks traded their pick for Z, Karma would drench himself.
