hoffman is a hall of famer, and is one of the top closers of all time...because he messed up an all-star game doesnt have much impact on that title? i dont get it.

And lose to the Cardinals, Pujols is the best hitter and baseball and this years Carpenter is just nasty..

um we swept the Cards in the series when people were saying Pujols was the best hitter. Cards wont even get there, i was thinking more along the lines of the Mets. What team in the NL, aside from the Mets (who got swept by the sox) can play with anyone in the AL? the tigers are nasty, the chi sox are as well.

the sox pitching and d have been very good, papelbon is lights out, schilling is solid, and beckett is as well. i have faith the sox wont disapoint this year.

we lost our "star player" in Damon. and lost Bronson Aroyo, who was an all-star this year, and are still ahead of the yankees.

Making the NL All Star Roster is like when you get those cute "participation" ribbons after something.

However you have to be somewhat talented to make the American League roster...the NL is just a branch of the minor leagues :chuckles: That explains why you guys have gotten your assed handed to you for a decade.

Hafner can't play the field and is SURELY an abuser of Human Growth Hormone. Sizemore is better than Hafner.
