Cavaliers @ Pacers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not sure I'm ready to lay the blame on Brown. Players have to make shots. But I would like to know what he's telling them about trying to score in the damn paint. We took 4 shots from inside the key in the 3rd quarter. Why Eric Snow took 3 shots in that quarter, I don't know. The offensive execution just seems horrid without Larry.

Mike doesnt have these guys motivated. He's a classic example of a coach who's gotten by on kissing ass. In addition to his inability to get in anyone's face (and you just know LeBron gets away with whatever he wants) he gets outcoached by teams that exploit our lack of commitment to getting to the bucket.

A couple more games like this $$it and I'll be agreeing with you. It's always harder to evaluate a coach's ability to motivate without being on the inside. His passive style on the sideline can be misleading.

I really wish we'd hired that offensive coordinator, though.

Only positives tonight were the good start in the 1st quarter and the play of Gibson in the 4th. Other than that is was ugly with a lot of signs that should lead to some serious concerns.

The early positive signs we saw of the new offense seem to lessen with each game. The motion and movement is becoming less and the Cavs are getting back into their bad old habits.

LeBron is great and can create well but there are times where the Cavs need to stop always putting the ball in his hands for the entire possession. Too often the offense becomes stagnant while 4 Cavs stand around watching LeBron pound down the shotclock on the perimeter. A better job has to be done to involve others and to encourage the movement that sometimes disappears.

I don't know how you can go 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter before getting Z his 1st shot attempt. Not that Z had a great game but for that to happen is inexcusable.

I've seen enough of Wesley. 17 minutes tonight and all he has to show for it is 1 assist. I'm worried if the coaching staff and front office can't recognize that this guy doesn't have it now and may have just lost completely lost it.

In 9 4th quarter minutes Gibson outscores the Cavs starting backcourt. It's very difficult to be efficient when you start 2 G's with no offensive ability.

The play of Marshall should be a concern too. He's looking very old now and hasn't played well at all lately.

Mike Brown does not know how to shout to motivate his players. lol He has no idea what he is doing. His substitutions sucks.

Z is a ****ing worthless piece of shit..

Bloated contract..declining performance...

Whopping 2 points 10 boards 3 TO's 4 fouls..

Whoooweee glad he's making 10+ mill per year...all you Z lovers will sit by until he drops 11 and 7 and try to throw it in my face but it won't work. We're lucky to get an AVERAGE game out of this great white stiff anymore..

Gimme Jones off the bench..at least he can run the floor finish with two hands and get off his feet..

**** Z

Z took two shots. Meanwhile, Eric Snow took 7.

Z had 10 rebounds to show for his 3 turnovers.
Snow had 4 assists to show for his 3 turnovers.

Yeah, Z had foul trouble, but Jeez M. Crow....

Yes but we all know Snow isn't going to be LeBron's sidekick..why did we choose the option to resign Z for 5 years 55 mill???

Terrible..he's doing absolutely nothing whatsoever..

I can't stand him..

Z didn't have a great game tonight but it's tough to score when you don't touch the ball.

Z didn't have a shot attempt until 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter. He barely touched the ball until that point.

Anyway Z isn't close to being the reason the Cavs lost tonight. There's a hell of a lot more that looked poor and should be a concern.

I don't think any Cav, including LeBron, played well tonight. Box scores don't always tell the whole story.

Mike Brown is an awful coach, his rotations are garbage and he continues to react instead of being proactive. A good coach(first of all wouldnt have wesley anywhere near the court) could get his team to hold onto leads. I knew our narraw escaped would start to bite us in the butt. We are continueing to falter and Brown is making 0 adjustments.

Get me Rick Adelman

The stats in this game are interesting.

The Pacers had 4 guys with 10 or more shots, and Harrington had 9. That accounts for 4 of their starters.

We had 2 guys with 10 or more shots, and Jones had 9. That accounts for 2 of our starters. Why? Because we don't want Snow or Wesley sniffing that many shots and laying their 33% shooting on someone. Z's the only other option in the starting group that can give you 10+ a night, and he gets a whopping 2 shots. WHY IS HE BEING IGNORED? He's had better games lately, he always starts a season slow, and it's better than what we have now.

He is being ignored because yet again, coach brown doesnt know how to utilize him. We consistently have mis matches with big z and we never exploit them.

I dont mean to sound like a broken record but Rick Adelman would know exactly how to use him. He has got much more out of much less talented big men.

arent we still in first place?

Means nothing right now...not after five games in a row of shit like we saw tonight.

Weren't we still up 14 at one point tonight? Weren't we 7-3 at one point? Weren't we looking pretty solid on offense at one point? Wasn't there a point in Wesley's career that he didn't look like a worthless scrub? Wasn't there a point that we thought Brown had this team's attention?

If that's all gone to shit in just a few games...why won't that first place record?

We got served :chuckles:

Sorry that SouthPark is on right now..
