Just before all this gets out of hand, everyone should settle down and realize that Brown won't be fired this offseason. The Cavs took the best team in basketball to the wire and were in the second round of the playoffs for the third straight season -- for the first time in franchise history.

to answer your inane questions, i wouldn't put too much money on that happening this decade, save for a huge mid-season collapse.

You are right, nobody really stepped up. The reason I don't want to see Wally is because his contract can get us someone really good in a trade. If we could somehow retain him for cheap then I wouldn't mind keeping him but we need that second all-star and his contract needs to help us get it.

They where overrated when Atlanta took them to seven, and still are. Also, we can hang our hat on one thing.. So much for a blow out, we gave this team everything LeBron James had, because no one helped him. I can easily understand James if he was to leave after his contract if Ferry does nothing. Its sad to see the best player in the game get sent home because he was over-matched with zero help from anyway.

Here it is in a nutshell:

LeBron tried to play with 2 guys. The other team had 4. Ray Allen is old and is running on fumes. Pierce played large. Garnett? Shrinkage. PJ Brown? Clutch.

I certainly hope Z (Mr Teflon) shoulders 80% of this loss. He never gets charged up in big games, and disappears on the floor. Unless he is fed open looks, he can do nothing on his own. He is a welfare Center...depending on LeBron's handouts.

Did you see Wally smiling and hobnobbing with the Celts after the game? F%$k Wally. Get rid of his sorry excuse for an attitude, and let him play in Oklahoma. He put up a goose egg.

While the Celts move on, there was little to distinguish between these 2 teams. Boston had a better seasonal record, but in the end, are no better than the 3 man Cavs. Boston should have blown Cleveland out early, and damn near paid for their errors down the stretch.

The Cavs must now rebuild this team with better players. The Celtics? THIS is their future. It all goes down and under in the next year or two. It's now or never...and Ray Allen may be the first victim of a long season and old legs.

He was supposed to be the guy to come in and hit the big 3. He was supposed help Lebron. Not hurt him.

Okay, the thing about Wally: it's not even about his play. He was never brought in for his play, the fact that he was the starting SG on this team was Sasha's indictment, more than anything. He arrived to match salaries and all he is now is an expiring contract. I have all the confidence in the world that Ferry will use him wisely. Wally WILL net us a key piece: an all-star level SG or big man. I would guess that it's gonna be a guard, but that's just me.

look guys the bottom line is that it was a heck of a series...despite the disappointment we have to give lebron james, mike brown and the cleveland cavlaiers a ton of credit for taking these guys to a game seven....


sure atlanta did the same, but to me that was a case of the celtics underestimating their opponent and the hawks playing way above their heads...in our case, we have to admit to ourselves....talent wise the boston celtics were just leaps and bounds ahead of us...heck, imagine if ray allen had some semblance of his game lol!


i'd just like to thank my boy lebron james for proving the pundits wrong and coming out ready to play in this big game seven,,,this was a strange season for us...varejao/pavlovic holdouts....all the injuries....the huge trade mid season and despite all that we came within 3 minutes of back to back eastern conference finals appearances....imagine that!


congrats to the boston celtics man, the better team won.
