From what you guys saw, did Pollard look in shape?

The dude is a monster. He really could give us some solid minutes banging around down low for 5-10 mins a night but MB won't ever let it happen. Unless there is an injury down the line.

No different than he looked the last couple years....but rusty.

This postgame call-in show is going to be merciless...I feel the vultures circling already.

He did look rusty but he looks like he is in good shape. I thought he looked a little more cut than he did on Indy. But I might just be intimidated by his mohawk.

OK, I was just wondering. I thought he looked out of shape at the beginning of the year, he's had lots of practice time to get it back though.

They're lucky it was a West coast game. There won't be that many people that stayed up to watch the whole thing. If I was Mike Snyder I would have went home sick after halftime.

Good point. Well our PG of the future picked things up in garbage time by notching 3 assists. All is well in Cavalier-land. :chuckles:
The future looks promising in Gibson! But we need one for the present or else Lebron is going to collapse trying to carry this bunch of could be's, has beens and the wounded. Come to think of it , a good PG would make all these guys look better.

I would bring him in ahead of Marshall. A tough physical presence inside is huge in close games. Also can free up other guys with bone crunching picks.

I couldn't agree more. It's been debated ad nauseum on these boards but until we get a true PG on this team now we are in trouble offensively. It is no secret but it will obviously be very tough to work out a deal for anyone unless we are willing to give up Gooden or Andy. I just don't see Ferry doing that.

Glad I didn't bother staying up to finish the rest of this one

The 14-0 run with Dickau as the catalyst sent me to sleep..

Was that Cousy? Stockton? Price? Nash? Oh, it was the great Dan Dickau!

I knew we were gonna lose in the first couple minutes in the game. Everyone played tired and defeated.

Lebron looked like he had cement in his shoes.

I went to bed right after the first quarter. I can't stand watching everyone standing around and Lebron holding the ball at the top of the key for 20 seconds anymore.

I new the game was over when MB, in the 3rd quarter, did not take out E snow and Larry Hughes out early enough....

We made our run in the 2nd quarter with boobie in there...why do we not play him to start in the 3rd?

No one played well last night. M. Brown still brought up defense in post game comments and although the defense wasn't great it was good enough to get a win. The problem and reason for the loss was offense. Untill the coach recognizes the offensive problems they will just continue to go on.

I blame LeBron for much of the offensive problems last night too. Almost every time he touched the ball the offense ground to a halt. He repeatedly pounded the ball on the perimeter and tried to go 1 on 5.
Last night was once again a great example of the Cavs needing a PG. LeBron cannot be the primary initator of the offense. You always run offense through him but a PG is needed who can also be the primary decision maker.

The same old problems were there once again. Lack of motion and ball movement in the offense and players continually settling for deep jumpers. How this can be allowed to continue to be a problem is something I don't understand.

At least last night Brandon Roy was the best player on the floor.

No help from the veteran bench duo of Jones and Marshall last night. A little consistent production from those 2 sure would be nice. Ferry needs to get bench help soon.

Cavs can still end up with a respectable record on the road trip but some old problems need to be corrected.

I'm not going to freak out and start saying "This team sucks", but I'm sick and tired of us throwing away games and not competing. It's so frustrating.
