]First of all, #1 overall picks always go to bad teams...duh.
Secondly, do you really think this team is done making moves?
Third, if we do suck, that would be fucking awesome since 2012 draft is supposed to be incredible.
I am "chill". I just see a poorly managed roster. I realize that there will be moves made. But, once again, that will have to sell low, not High. The roster is really constructed as a mismatch, or mishmash, of players. Clearly grant is a saber metrics guy. Which I suppose is fine. But slapping together Guys who rank highest in your metric does not equate to team constructing.
Also, you have to consider that these guys are actual real people. You now have a tEam that is largely constructed of pf an pg that knows they and not going to get any time. So morale will be low.
Sure a large chunk of that will be addressed when they attempt to salary dump our dead weight, but frankly, we don't even know what that entails with the new CBA coming up.
As for tanking for next year, I always agree with that method. Take a couple years of being bad to get. The high picks in place to be good in the long run. However, I just don't see this team flipping its redundant assets for high picks in a draft everyone wants a part of. Again, setting themselves up to sell low.
I don't mind the players, per say, just the sloppy and slapdash construction methods.
So chill out.[/QUOTE]
