Cavs - Pacers Final Preseason Game

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It is what it is right now. We all saw a Mitchell/ LeVert backcourt be very good all of last year, especially at the start with Garland out.

We can't do that. It worked well at first because nobody game plans that early in the season. Once they did, the no PG thing was always disastrous. They signed Ty for a reason. This was a good opportunity to get Jerome some minutes at PG. If this is what JBB is going to do in a preseason game when it doesn't matter then get rid of him. I am not interested in watching him repeat last season's mistakes and costing us Mitchell.

Well an incredibly underwhelming preseason comes to an end, thankfully it’s not normally an indication for the season to come
Really kind of a waste other than getting guys in game shape. We never saw our starting lineup. We rarely saw most of our likely rotations.

Man, I don't care what no one says. Max Strus might single handedly be the best addition of the offseason. The value of moving without the ball is so evident from last season to this one. It's a shame he isn't taller than LeVert, but he definitely gives you much more than having to start Okoro at the 3. The best parts of Mobley are coming out.

And Okoro is best utilized in the reserve team.

While Donovan looked like Donovan by the 3rd quarter I still want DG to be the PG.

Ty Jerome fouls too much but he reminds me so much of Delly on defense lol.

If we could get any offense from Wade he would be so valuable. He’s really good on the defensive end
I tuned in when the score was 6-4 and Mitchell was at the free throw line. He made them both to tie the score at 6-6. Dean played about 5 more minutes in the first quarter, 7 minutes in all. He never touched the ball once on the offensive end in those 5 minutes. Hard to do a lot on offense when that happens. I decided not to watch any more. I was hoping since had had been shooting the ball, and fairly effectively the first 3 games, that Mitchell and the likes would include him in the offense. But no. Only one or two guys touched it on each posession and it was either a shot off of one-on-one ball, or a turnover off of the same strategy.

I did see he had an assist to Mobley in the first 90 seconds, so I am going to go with he touched it once in the first 7 minutes, and made something happen out of that touch.
