Cavs Summer League (starts July 10)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So, Quinn Cook, who is part of our Summer League team, just played 38 minutes in a 2 OT game for OKC in Orlando this morning...is this dude really about to fly across the country and play another game? I get wanting to open as many eyes as possible as an undrafted guy...but damn.

This guy has actually been pretty solid and intrigues me.
Played 37 minutes yesterday, scored 22 and dished out 9 assists. And before that got 15/5/5 in 26 minutes against the Grizzlies.
Let's see what he can do for us. Though he probably will get very very limited minutes tonight, if any.

Cook seems like the guy that will go Europe for 2 -3 years come back in his mid 20's and stick in the NBA and make pretty good money for the rest of his career. Seems like a solid future bench guy, but not sure it will be now.

Excited to see Joey Buckets, along with Christmas and Pointer! Another guy who will be fun to watch is Keifer Sykes. He's a 5'11 PG, but the dude can jump out of the gym.

I was blessed and got to participate in the 2014 RCF mock draft. I was the GM for the Charlotte Hornets. Three of my draft picks are playing in this season's summer league.

Before the draft, I traded the number 9 overall pick to the Cavs, for TT and the 33rd pick. I used that pick to take Jordan Clarkson, who is on the Laker summer league team. Cleanthony Early, who I drafted is on the Knicks team and Deandre Daniels is on the Raptor roster.

Anyone have a stream for the game tonight for those of us without NBA TV?

WCS runs the floor really well
I've been saying for awhile now that I think he will be the best player from this draft. I know odds are I am wrong but I stand by that. He is actually a smart player (surprising, right?) and an amazing defender. He is super athletic. And he plays the 4/5 the way it is needed in today's NBA.

Yeah he looked really mobile and he seemed to know where to be defensively at all times. Didn't see him get caught out of position. Man does he cover well from the 3pt line to the paint.

My way too early reaction, Russell is going to damn good.

Randle has a very quick first step
