Cavs Vs. Bulls 4/3/08 7pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Did you see the numbers side by side for him with the Cavs and with the Bulls? Exactly the same. 37% from the field, 12.8 ppg. For every night like he had tonight, he'll give you three crappy performances. It doesn't excuse our loss tonight, but Larry is the last player you should be longing for...

The thing is

Wally is replacing Larry.

Wally hasn't scored as well as Larry, his ballhandling SUCKS, and he gives about 10% of the defense Larry provides.

It does not matter if it is Larry, Wally , Devin , Sasha, Delonte, Donyel, Ira, Ricky Davis, Damon, Boobie, Bingo Smith, Austin Carr or whoever......we have NO offensive plays other than give it to Lebron and pray.

:chuckles:

truth

LeBron IS the common denominator here.

gift and the curse

Before this game, Larry had made 13 of his last 46 shots. That's 28%.

Wally isn't replacing Larry...we don't have anyone to waste 6-8 shots a game on bad shot selection.

Wally is a backup SF, not a SG/part time point gaurd. His defense has been serviceable to good. Larry was terrible here for 2 1/2 years, but one game has you pining for his 38% shooting percentage...please.

Good luck reasoning with unreasonable gloom and doom posters.

You should be rejoicing that we were actually able to trade Hughes for anyone with a pulse. And Wally is not replacing Larry, Delonte is... at least in the starting lineup.

I'm not going to argue anymore about us moving Hughes. If you really miss what he brings to the table (or rather doesn't bring) then I don't know what else to tell you.

What dismays me is the lack of passion I saw tonight. Regardless of who was out on the floor we just looked like we didn't give one flying **** about the outcome of this game. I don't know if that comes down to the coach, or just our current situation regarding our playoff spot. But games should never be mailed in like they were tonight. NEVER.

No excuse for this loss. Pathetic performance in the 4th qtr. The same questionable coaching moves over and over with no change.

Even after the win last night I said there's something off with this team and it's been that way for a few weeks now. Lethargic play and bad looking body language and actions.

I will always watch and follow the Cavs closely but they aren't enjoyable to watch. I get more frustrated and angry watching games than enjoy them.

Mike Brown has shown no improvement as a coach and it almost looks like he's regressed. I've never been a huge fan but now I have no confidence in him. It's looking like the players might not have any either.

Maybe it will all come together in the playoffs but there sure as hell aren't any signs that will happen. I guess you never know with LeBron though.

All roads lead to 38% with Larry. MB should have at least tried Sasha to help defend the perimeter tonight. The Bulls have NO post game to fall back on.

Apparently Lebron has back spasms (Explains why he had 1pt in the 4th qtr)

Great.

What? Back spasms are now contagious?

Yo, wassup with MB NOT playing Damon on the last shot or AT ALL.

Boobie's been out for weeks and you let him take the last shot?

Boooo.

I am not getting any calmer on here...I am out. If Lebron had back spasms why is he insisting on predictably driving to the rim. That only works if he can overpower everyone.

...I feel like just typing a string of curse words, so I best just leave, but this loss is really unacceptable. This team is not getting again, how many embarrassing losses does it really take?

Yeah this loss was pretty terrible. TBH i almost got in an accidnet on the highway because i was speeding i was so pissed off. Gibson got blown by soo many times, delonte wasnt much better. Our perimeter d is atricious. and wtf is up with hughes gettin a 40 inch vert all of a sudden. what a punk i never saw a dunk in 2+ years
