Cavs vs. New Jersey 4/9/08

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
REST HIM holy shit . I bet our guys can beat nj without bron, unlike the old cavs we actaully have people who can score the goddamn ball now. I bet if we played wally and joe heavy minutes they could carry the scoring load along with z. I want lebron to seriously not play another minute till his back is PERFECT

Unlike the old Cavs, we have guys that can score the ball? Ben Wallace doesn't score, he misses dunks often, Joe Smith is like Drew Gooden on the offensive end, but I'd take Gooden offensively. Wally shoots like Larry, but according to stats and FG% Larry is doing better since the trade.

I'm missing the part where we can now score, because if we could, why are we getting completely shut down in the fourth quarter the past two games?

LeBron needs to play.

I would say shut down LeBron (and maybe even Big Ben) for the rest of the regular season, personally. Sure, we might raise our chances in the first round getting home court, but I think we might decrease our chances, beyond the first round, if he could've used this extra down time we could give him right now. I wouldn't even care if we played Orlando in the first round, I'm almost just as scared of them as I am of Philly and possibly Washington right now.

Hell, if we are gonna force our clearly ailing superstar (not even cut down his minutes???), and make it probably come back to bite us in the ass when we get embarrassed in the 2nd round, I'd rather just get knocked out of the first and give our guys a bit of an extra offseason. LeBron is only gonna have so much time off anyway, with the Olympics this summer.

I know back injuries can be a different breed, but clearly it seems Z has benefited greatly with the time off he had the pleasure of getting.

I wouldn't mind it either, if we just rested LeBron and Ben, and give a little extra burn to some of our guys that just completely disappeared from the rotation to confirm, for sure, if they should be completely non-factors (bench warmers) during the postseason. Heck, Mike Brown might actually be forced to try to draw up some X's and O's for our 4th quarter offense during these games with LeBron resting. Maybe it could shorten Gibson and Wally's offensive slumps by putting more pressure on them to take control of our offense?

I dunno, but what do we have to lose, at this point, otherwise?

Yeah f'real if LeBron is out, We're out - Simple as that.

I wanna at least wanna make it to the 2nd round this year - no reason we shouldn't.

dont fool yourself mycah. do you really think a team led by lebron james is not going to go far? Has he failed us in the past.. no. Unless hes paralyzed were going somewhere

Wally has averaged 20ppg and can actually carry a scoring load in a game, unlike larry who was injured 24/7 or anybody else we had. Joe smith can also put up 15 easily. Z 20 , and then delonte 15-20. We had shannnon brown and ira newble trying to carry the scoring load before the trade.

Guys if anyone know some stream for this game please post....Thx

Can't believe I am saying this but I would rather Lebron sit this one out and possibly just play sporadic minutes in the final few games. We don't stand a chance in the playoffs without a healthy Bron. I am also curious as hell to see how these guys can gel together without Lebron on the floor and Delonte truly running the offense.

Thats the whole problem with Mike Brown, even if he says he will limit his minutes, he always breaks that promise. As long as LeBron is dressed for the game, unless he injures himself during the game or we are getting blow out by 30 points in the start of the 4th, MB will always have him end up playing 38+ minutes every game.

The only way for sure that he doesn't play that 38+ minutes, is to completely shut him down for the game.

anyone got a link to this game? every goddamn site has crapped out on links

Lebron looks OK early on. Don't see him favoring it at all, looks quick.

Wally first sub off the bench. He must be producing in practice

Boobie just made a real nice drive to the basket. He looks alot better

I much would have rather Bron sat out btw

The starters all looked pretty ok. They looked crisp and focused like they had a few days to practice.

The D has been a step slow both in rotations and just in intensity altogether
