Cedi scored 20.5 points per game in World Cup.

In first preseason game with CAVS he got a complete stats. His defense was awesome with 5 steals. Today he couldn't get rhythm, actually the ball didn't touch him much.

I am sure he can play with Garland and Love much more better. Today we missed both. We forced the ball with Clarkson and Sexton. Plus lack of small ball and spacing with Nance and Tristan. Also Cedi loves full court basketball and fast breaks, but today we were kind of slow.

I also noticed you are writing against Cedi whenever he got a bad game. Even in preseason one!

Cedi/Windler/KPJ is not a bad rotation for a rebuilding team like us now.
Its just my opinion. I don't really count the first game and I did not see the World Cup, but I would just be happy with him being an average defensive player. I'm not sure how many times if any I have written about Cedi, but it is not as often as you implied. I really like his heart & hustle, but again in my opinion he is not a starter in the NBA.

He is probably not a starter in the NBA or conterder team yet. But who is the starter player in our team except Love?
Cedi said that he is working on his defense and 3 point. I believe he will improve.
P.S: I'm sorry may it was another guy who wrote against Cedi whenever find an opportunity.

Believe me, I am rooting for Cedi and love his attitude. Hoping Garland/Sexton will both become very good starters in this league. I would love to see KPJ become the steal of the draft and I have not even mentioned Windler. I guess I was just expecting a bigger jump for Cedi, maybe it will come this year with an all around better coaching staff for younger players.

Really Disappointed with his defense, mainly because it was meant to be a strength
Defense is a team thing.. I see Cedi, Love, Thompson Delly , and Clarkson as capable, but the rest are pretty defensively green. I think Sexton can learn, and as he gets stronger, he may start to be effective, but Garland has to get strong and Porter has to learn how to deal with NBA talent. Windler is long, and looks crafty, but can he hang with the juggernaughts that play the 3?..

I also think Henson can play defense, but we have not seen him.. Ante has not been consistent but certainly has the length.. Knight is experienced but terrible..

I expect us to be better offensively than projected, but a work in progress defensively.. which means we will give up a ten point lead at the close of a game, just like last night..

At least Cavs fans understand now Cedi will never be a Robin. If he had that potential, Lebron would have never left.

He is bench player, indeed a potentially valuable bench player. But that is all. His impact on Cavs wins and losses will be a negative with the heavy minutes he will get.

Ah I remember when LeBron left how many people were saying how fun it was going to be to see Cedi develop into some kind of fringe all star (some even flatly said potential all star). He seems to be more of a fringe rotation player to me.

This team is going to be so bad for the foreseeable future.

Sometimes it's just about timing of development for a player to put everything together to react his full potential.

Sadly I think the timing was all wrong for Cedi. His rookie season was basically a lost season for him. If he was able to just had the light go off for him and the NBA slow down for him after his rookie season, he might have had a big jump in his sophomore season. The reduced talent and oppprtunities were there last season for Cedi to go thru the growning pains to build his game out. I don't think those same opportunities will be there this season. The leash will be shorter with additional young talent to develop. KPJ and Windler will be waiting to jump in when Cedi isn't playing well.

I wish Cedi had the game reps to really work on his ball handling. If his ball handling went up a level or two, everything else would come so much easier for him.

Faster we can dump alot of these vets the faster we can give the opportunities and minutes to develop all the young guys. At least Cedi can play PF for stretches which should allow him to get solid minutes even as Windler and KPJ develop as long as we can get rid of some of the big depth.

I just get the feeling Beilein doesnt rate him as much as previous staff, just from listening to his interviews since being coach I feel he rates Windler higher
