I dunno man maybe I’m wrong but I feel Cedi bricked a disgusting amount of wide open 3s this year
It looked like all the gyms in Turkey were closed last summer due to the pandemic. His 3-point accuracy took a dive from last year and that should not happen at this stage of his career.
I love his passing but that's the only thing I think he does well.
Looking at his game log, the last game he played really well and the Cavs won was on Jan. 20 in the double overtime win against Brooklyn where Cedi scored 25 points with 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 50 minutes. That was probably the best win of the season as Harden, Irving and Durant all played 48-51 minutes. That game is THE blueprint for how the Cavs can win next year.
Sexton had 42 points (Garland was injured). Nance contributed 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in 45 minutes, doing a little of everything. Cedi had 25/7/7, going 4-for-9 on 3's. Prince came off the bench to go 17/7/4, scoring 17 points on 9 shots. Our four wings (Nance, Okoro, Prince, Cedi) combined to go 12-for-23 from deep. Dotson scored 15 in 25 minutes in place of Garland.
When the Cavs had wings who were producing offensively, like Cedi, Nance, and Prince against Brooklyn that night, they were a very competitive team. They need a guy who can do it every night, like a Jaylen Brown, to go along with Nance, Okoro, and Prince next year. Hopefully they can draft a guy like that.
Drummond and Allen combined for 25 points and 18 rebounds that night, which is what I expect from Allen and Hartenstein every night next season. Okoro had 8 points and 3 rebounds in 43 minutes but he has stepped up his offensive game a lot since January.
That January 20 formula of forwards hitting a high percentage of 3's, robust scoring from the guard positions, and dominating the center position with 25 points and 18 boards is where the Cavs need to be every night next season.
