It's been kind of like the Peter Principle with Cedi. We've kept waiting for him to take that "next step", but in his case, the "next step" of taking a bigger role is right where he fails. As long as we ditch that idea and take him for what he is, he's a good player.
The downfall with him has generally come when someone ahead of him gets injured, and the calls come for him to "step up". And he's failed, every time. So to the extent we get hit with injuries, it's going to take some organizational/coaching discipline to keep him in his current role, and instruct others to step up into the role of shot-creator.
