Yea I'm sure Alabama is glad they didn't get Saban's wishy washy ass. And the ban hammer has no relevance on his possible success in the NFL. Did Pete Carroll getting the ban hammer hurt the Seahawks?
Wait, what? My quote applies much more to the way Saban dogged LSU, left for MIA, and then dogged MIA leaving for ALA. And now the same Saban gets all twisted when media asks him 1000 times if he's sure he's not leaving? Well, duh, you grumpy old bastard, of course they keep asking. You play wishy washy games and lie in the past.
The ban comment was made as to why he left ORE for good this time. Peter King came out a few days ago and said Kelley went back to ORE because of Nike. Well, did Nike somehow renig on something? Not likely. It's fair to assume Kelley just now learned of how severe his penalties may be.
The Browns were right in moving on. The funny thing is, the Petrino comment I made seems justifiable now, as well. Dude left ORE without even telling his assts or players first. That's classy. if you don't see the douche it takes to do something like that, I feel for ya.
