I saw this proposed on another board BY a sacromento fan.

Wally + 1st + Cash for Mikki Moore + John Salmons

why for cle: absolute perfect fits for us. john salmons is the IDEAL 2 gaurd we need on our team. he has 1st tier defense. complete all around game, can run, shoot (mid range mostly) and has good size. hes not a great 3pt shooter at 333, but we have enough to cover for that.
Mikki moore is a great backup PF who led the league in FG and has a deady mid range J. perfect fit beside AV.

why for kings:
they get '10 capspace as salmons runs threw that year. they also free time up for there young wing players (garcia, greene, douby) and much needed time for there young bigs. also aquire a first round pick and cash.

final roster:
Mo Will/ Delonte/ Kinsey
Salmons/ Boobie/ Pavs
Bron/ Jawad
Ben/ Moore/ JJ
Big Z/ AV

just a FYI: salmons is averaging 17 points on 47% with 4.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and is only 28...

Oh well Camby is good and if we could get him i'd do it, but Kaman is still fairly young and for us he would be better.

Mobley has been deteriorating, Camby is very injury ridden and both of them are over 33. Not a dream IMO.

Salmons is 28 and a great fit, while Moore is a solid fit but quite old as well. It could work, but we should be looking at all options. I wouldn't jump on this, but I'd leave it on the board.

Yea looking deeper into that trade I dont like it any more, it just looked really good to me because of what ive seen from them a couple of years ago, but now that I have actualy looked at their player profiles, i would like that trade soo never mind

Camby's defense is vastly overrated, he tries to block everything in sight and is often out of position which leads to tons of offensive rebounds for the opposing team. There's a reason why the Nuggets defense has improved since he's been gone.

I would loose it if we got Salmons somehow. Who can resist the beasting beard, he has teh brain to go along with it for those who instantly thought of Drew Gooden.

not enamored with Mikki though, actually, Ive been quite irritated by teh sight of him since that semi round against NJ. His voice is way too odeep for him to only weigh 150 soaking wet.

But for Salmons... I'll take him in and kick his arse until he puts some meat on those 32 yr old bones.
