Cleveland Browns 2021 Regular Season: RIP

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Based on the replies, it's amazing how few people understand what this chart is saying. :chuckle:
Going for 4th downs is the right move. The best teams in the NFL do it. Coverage sacks & drops are the problems. Jarvis will help this quite a bit but Stefanski has to scheme better to get these conversions cause it's killing momentum

Sure, let's line up a bunch of slow LBs to cover TEs and WRs - that'll help. This isn't 2004, dude. LBs are the RBs of defense.
Who said anything about wanting slow LBs? That’s what we have right now. We needed to invest in good LBs. Ones who could actually move and tackle. Unlike walker who runs in quick sand and Mack who can’t tackle.

Haven't we seen first hand that the "LB's = RB's" notion just isn't true?

We are about to play Denver on Thursday, an offense that is completely average by DVOA standards.

They fall next to Minnesota for example, which we shut down.

We've played two top 8 offenses in DVOA the last two weeks and they generally destroyed us.

We are now playing an average offense with an average QB.

There better be a marked improvement in the defense, relative to the competition, or I think Woods seat is gonna get pretty warm.

Losing to a Cardinals team playing at a high level isn't so worrisome.

Broncos are beatable. Injuries and short week will add some challenge to this. If this team can't beat weakass teams to keep us in the playoff race then I'm thinking this roster has hit it's absolute floor.

Dude just stop. Outside of Walker who is a 2 down LB, our LBs are not slow.

This Thurs night game couldn't have come at a worse time, although one could argue this will show how mentally tough they are.

Decimated by injuries, inconsistent play on both sides, and spotty coaching. And yet they're somehow 3-3. Get a win Thursday, take 11 days off to rest. It's not a make/break game, but they lose on Thursday and they start running out of time.
