What can you people tell me about Kwesi?
Brilliant guy. Princeton grad & former basketball player. I believe he started off working a hedge fund manager or something before he got into football. He's a strong believer in analytics. AB met him at the combine when he was with the Eagles, was impressed with him, and stayed in touch. Hired him away from the Niners when he got the opportunity.

If/when he's hired as a GM, we get two(2) 3rd round comp picks from the NFL- one this year and one next year.

I’m just worried he’s gonna poach the front office and leave us scrambling for scouts and assistants.

Always sucks to lose a talented exec. That said, it's also what happens to well run organizations. Having other teams hire people away, then promoting from within is healthy. I take it as a sign we're still headed in the right direction.

Also, 2 extra 3rds is a nice bonus.

So the exact opposite of what we just had. I like it.

Most scout contracts run out in May, after the draft. It's possible KAM could poach some guys from our front office, but it likely wouldn't be until then. He might also look to the Niners as he worked there before coming to the Browns.

Right but if he’s offering them promotions then they don’t have to wait until may.

Only if the Browns allow them to interview & leave. We can block any interviews for employees that are under contract, which aren't for a GM position.
