Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Honestly we shouldn’t have had to double chase. Ward should be able to handle him 1 on 1. That’s his fault. And most of our coverages are zone. So doubling doesn’t really apply there.

Anybidy who is asking for us to double team Chase either does not actually watch our games or has no understanding of our defensive principles. As a fan I think it's okay if you feel this way but as someone who is paid to cover these teams there's no excuse.

His football coverage lacks depth and he comes across like a fan that has a backstage pass but instead of trying to get a better understanding of how things are going and sharing that with the fans he's only sharing his on personal fan experience.

Once again we have the worst media coverage in the league.

Time to see what Jerome Ford can do. All the young guys for that matter. Put Hudson in on the line.

Considering what happened to Baker at the end of the year last year with Hudson on the line, I'd strongly advise against this. Watson is someone the Browns want to keep and keeping him upright makes sense.

I'd spend the rest of the season seeing who is worth keeping and who isn't. Is Conklin worth keeping? Do we need a 2nd, or 3rd TE? Is Hunt as asset or a waste? Defensively, is anyone on the line worth keeping (outside of Myles)? What backers are keepers (outside of JOK)? Is Delpit fixable?

I still can't believe a flea-flicker worked for a touchdown...

22 You're doing great!

Man we were so excited when Delpit was drafted…

Hey let’s look at those LSU highlights again…

The "double team" is just not a thing in the modern NFL. The only time you might see a guy "doubled" is on the goal line.

I missed the first three quarters so I didn't see enough... but did we blanket Chase with safety help? Since they were down Higgins + Boyd, sounds like a perfect opportunity to run more aggressive man coverage and have help over the top and across the middle.

"Doubling" won't happen but if we left Ward on an island all game when they were down Higgins and Boyd then that would be pretty idiotic.

Here's Woods sticking John Johnson 1 on 1 with Chase in the slot.

Predictably, Chase immediately beats him on the out both times for the easiest pitch-and-catch a QB like Burrow will ever have to make.

Mary Kay is still talking about brissett and Watson should've been sharing snaps in the Houston game. He won 3 games who the fuck cares about this season? Trying to win games with brissett. He had 11 games.
