This may or may not be an indirect shot at the entire board. Ruling on the field should stand as called.

My guess is that the Browns just aren't comfortable with Mond as the emergency QB yet since he just got in the building and would prefer to have someone available that knows the system in the event of absolute catastrophe.

The moment they feel Mond is comfortable enough with the playbook (probably 2-3 weeks) to serve in that capacity, Rosen will be let go.

Rosen has been on alot of teams and most likely is familiar with alot of systems. He might be a good scout team QB to mimick an opposing teams QB tendencies.
