Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm saying that you can't claim that any one particular player is being exposed to physical harm by coaches in an NFL game. This is the NFL. James Hudson was making his 5th start of his career against PIT that day? Was he put in harms way by having to block DPOTY TJ Watt?
No. These are two different scenarios. A tackle blocking a great defensive end isn't in danger the same way a QB is taking hits from that great defensive end.

How is it two different scenarios? The whole point is that you cannot single out one players as evidence that the coaches are hanging him out to dry. Not in a game like football where there is required participation by multiple guys on every single play.

Even if James Hudson has a tough time blocking TJ Watt, JC Tretter still has to snap the ball and block Cam Heyward. Our receivers still need to get open and catch the ball. Our RB's need to pickup blitzes and break tackles.

Everyone has a role to play. You can't unfairly say that a coach is targeting a QB when there are too many other players on the field who's performance can directly impact how good or bad the QB looks.

Blocking someone is not the same as being tackled.

It's the difference between trying to push a car and being hit by a car.

I know that. That's why I'm saying it's unfair to say that KS targeted Baker that game. There are other aspects of the game that could've led to a bad performance by Baker. James Hudson blocking TJ Watt in his 5th career start is only one of them. Baker being a terrible QB is the main one though and that's why he sucked that day.

He didn't suck because KS had it out for him and TJ Watt was feasting on James Hudson. He sucked because he is below average as an NFL QB. There are quite a few QB's in the league who would've also sucked if out in that same position as Baker. I don't think anybody would've claimed that KS had it out for them either.

Baker just sucks and he talks too fucking much. So when he fails and puts his foot in his mouth people are going to see if they can connect some dots to figure out why but we know why.

He sucks.

Doesn't matter though. Baker does not play for The Cleveland Browns anymore.

Go Jacoby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man.

I thought getting to 5-6 is a blessing.

If we don’t win 5, total disappointment.

Wow. Going into the season I would have been thrilled to go 1-1 against the Chargers and Patriots. Now anything less than 2-0 in those games feels like a disappointment give how Brissett and the offense have exceeded everyone's expectations.

Cleveland is going to be on top of the Sports world for the next several years.

Baseball - Youngest team in MLB and still made the playoffs, numerous top prospects still to come in the next 2 seasons
Basketball - Playoff bound, likely championship contenders for the next couple of years. Very young nucleus of stars
Football - Definite contender with Watson, 2nd youngest team in the NFL
