Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Looks like he’ll likely take Hubbard’s role heading into next year..

I can’t be the only one who thinks the exact opposite.

I think Baker is a low end starting QB, and his deficiencies clearly exist when you look at a whole season.

I think Baker is going to be Browns-Bengals Baker. It’s… not going to look great for us.

So you think Baker is going to galvanize that CAR in less than 3 months and be his best self in week 1 against his former team with his over emotional ass?

Baker is a low end starting QB with deficiencies playing on a new team. Nothing about that should scare anybody. If we're worried about baker we should be just as worried about Joe Flacco and Marcus Mariota but I don't see half as many people acting concerned about playing either of them but Baker? He's the big bad wolf all of a sudden?

I’m not saying he’s the big bad wolf, Los.

It’s extremely naive to think Baker is guaranteed to show up and lay a goose egg.

Mind you, I’d love nothing more than for Myles to take him to strip sack city, repeatedly, but conceptually, Baker is more likely to play his best game all year than he is to play his worst.

And then he’ll promptly go back to being average on his best days.

Thank goodness.

I'm no expert on offensive tackles, but it seems like Hubbard was always a liability whenever we were forced to play him .. Haeg seems like an upgrade

I think Baker goes for it hard. The thing is, his play, and personality, is driven by emotion. Success at QB is typically based on precision. Emotion and precision dont usually mesh. Can Baker thread the needle? Its entirely possible. I think he may be a bit *too* hyped, though.

I'm surprised that Schwartz isn't the backup kick returner and they would risk using one of our starting WRs on punts with DPJ.

Great backup tackle, in 307 snaps last year, 1 penalty, 3 sacks allowed and 67.5 PFF grade. He is a starting level tackle. 29 years old, so soon on the wrong side of 30, but as a 3rd tackle, i will take it.

6 years in league, 72 games, 39 starts and started a won a SB with Tampa.

quality backup, ok starter.

Do you trust Schwartz to catch the ball?

BEREA, Ohio — Myles Garrett received a nice text from Baker Mayfield after he was traded to the Panthers, but decided not to respond.

“He said he appreciated the time we got to spend together and getting to know each other and growing together,” Garrett told cleveland.com in a one-on-one interview last week. “I really I didn’t say anything. I didn’t really have much to say and I didn’t know how reply to it, so I didn’t.”

With Jakeem Grant and York, our special teams had an opportunity to be good. ^&$# these injuries man.

Myles is one of the several (many?) players I've *seen* eyeroll at Baker when they showed him trying to lead pregame huddles. This is 1000% not, at all, surprising.

Oh good I can sleep tonight now.
