This looks incredible and would be awesome to have. Would be cool to actually add a lakefront stage for the Rock Hall.
Looks pretty cool! Not sure about that toilet bowl looking thing but the rest of it looks great!
Apparently they view our transportation system as being in the toilet bc that thing is a window to the current Amtrak station I think.

There's enormous appeal there. The Gaslamp District in San Diego is one of the most enjoyable areas in the country.Apparently they view our transportation system as being in the toilet bc that thing is a window to the current Amtrak station I think.
I like the concept but not necessarily that plan. They say it's fluid of course. I think turning the whole shoreway into a boulevard makes sense at this point. Just not sure who would want to live right outside a massive stadium. My guess is Haslam wants the residential to help him draw businesses to around the stadium so they have customers year round. Also if they can move the Amtrak station back to Tower City would open up more land. Or actually make a nice station.
That's around a baseball stadium with 81 games a year and 2/3rds the capacity of a football stadium. It also isn't landlocked on a peninsula of sorts like our stadium, that district sort of feeds into the stadium- it more like the corridor that leads down to the stadium. Also, baseball fans don't show up at 7 to start drinking and falling off vans like football fans do. Is there a football stadium example that isn't college? There's enormous appeal there. They are. I think two exits go away. If this includes underground parking right off the shoreway it may make more sense, honestly. Is it me or does it look like they are taking out the exit ramp to East 9th street from the shoreway?
I'd imagine a stadium that only hosts a few games a year isn't that big of a deal. If I were looking, my biggest concern would be how freaking cold it would be with the wind whipping right off the water with nothing obstructing it in the middle of winter. That's around a baseball stadium with 81 games a year and 2/3rds the capacity of a football stadium. That exit is a pain in the ass. They are. I think two exits go away. If this includes underground parking right off the shoreway it may make more sense, honestly.
My Google feed gave me an article this AM that said the exits but it's been replaced by the Cleveland.com one behind the paywall. I think so, I assume whatever exits were in between. It looks like at the end, there is an exit onto the sand/what I assume is a giant parking lot (oh what a view for that last apartment building lol). I seems like a good concept, obviously rough around the edges; I think the cost estimate is on the low side and I wonder how much they expect private development to take care of this but at least they are thinking. But they are talking and coming up with some bold concepts, maybe something will get done to silence the doubters like me.That exit is a pain in the ass.
They getting rid of West 3rd too?
The train tracks get a roof before the stadium. SmhTake that money and put a roof on that stadium.
A roof for the climate would cost more than 200m.Take that money and put a roof on that stadium.
I’d take a built out lakefront with a land bridge that finally connects it to the rest of the city instead of a roof.Take that money and put a roof on that stadium.
