* Two games left in the season... This is a must win for the Cavs. We have to win out, not only for our fighting chance for the #2 seed, but for pride and momentum. We have been successful in crushing opposition the past two games... let's keep it up.
* Philly has nothing left to play for but pride. Pride in its young rising players in the wake of Iverson leaving, and hope for the future. They have nothing to lose, with only strength and confidence to gain, so they will be a tough opposition.
-: lyXo's Keys to the Game :-
* Iguodala has been bothered by back problems and might not play. If he does, then there is one clear cut strategy: LeBron in the post. Post Andre up, muscle him down in the paint.
* Use Ilguaskas finesse to our advantage. Dalembert might be more athletic, quick, and explosive, but he still lacks NBA smarts and a seasoned veteran in the post like Big Z can give him fits and throw him off for the game. He has been successful in the past, so we must make sure he doesn't this time around.
* Stay with your man. The 76ers lack any big time player demanding a double team... outside of Iguodala. But if we collapse too much on Andre Miller, who will be causing havoc by penetrating and working the mid-range, then he'll find his buddies for open looks and easy buckets. If we stick to one-on-one, man-to-man defense, we'll be able to beat them.
* Dominate early, and stomp down. We want to have a sizeable lead into halftime, come out storming in the third, leaving time for rest in the 4th. We have a big back-to-back tomorrow that we need to prepare for as well.
Final Note:
We beat them in Philly without LeBron. With LBJ back with a passion, we should be able to take this game without trouble. This matchup will be a test of the Cavs' ferocity and killer instinct... don't disappoint.
Early and easy win. 106-82
