His best attribute is his shooting. It's Jason Terry+ level, IMO.

Jason Terry was a low key monster in Dallas.
60.5 win shares with a 3.4 OBPM in his eight years there.
Garland is just an incredible shooter. I think he has a chance to be up there with the best snipers in the game
Clarkson had a 40pt gameI believe Kevin Love had our only 30-point game last year and it wasn't until February. I don't think we'll have to wait as long this year.

The draft is a crapshoot and trying to pretend that the Cavs big board had everything to do with Garland being their guy at the top, instead of the fact that teams in the lottery and outside the lottery needed a pg upgrade and there was a limited supply in this draft class raised his value further.
Trying to suggest you "know " he wasn't picked to be flipped is ignorant, even if the trades didn't happen or don't.
Most excited I have been about a draftee since Wiggins, yes I was really excited about Wiggins..
Curry/Lillard hybrid in terms of play style. What’s the best comparison for Garland? Curry? Kyrie? Somewhere in between?
It looks/sounds like he can shoot curry status, which is saying he could/should be at the very least an elite shooter.

Some things you shouldn't admit in public. You might also be the biggest Backstreet Boys fan, but I wouldn't admit that out loud either.
Player comps are a bad idea if you're arguing about how good someone is. They're okay if you're trying to describe very generally issues like fit.Darius Garland.
Seriously, player comps are stupid. If they weren't, you could look at the NBA starting PG's right now and find a bunch of them that are the same. Or, we'd still be using archetypes from history, rather than continuing to use more recent ones.
Let's discuss players' strengths and weaknesses, what they do well, what they might struggle with, etc.
