“They played harder than us,” Darius Garland told cleveland.com. “We’re exhausted. That’s what it is. This month has been really tough for us for real. It’s been brutal. Just fighting with what we’ve got right now.”

This quote if from Fedor’s follow-up column to the recap of last night’s game.

What exactly does Darius Garland have to be exhausted from ? He‘s only played 47 games out of 71, only played 22 minutes last night and his minutes were ramped up slowly and carefully monitored upon his reinsertion into the lineup. Evan Mobley has played in only 39 games out of 71…..only 4 in March with 35 minutes, 28, 23 and 21 minutes played all month.

These guys are getting paid multi-millions of dollars and access to the best therapy and conditioning and while March has 17 games, November had 13 and we’ve had 3 mini-breaks throughout the year— in-season tournament, Paris trip and the All Star break.

This is exactly why you give CPJ more minutes during the season. Even if he isn't as good, playing him more would have given us more depth as a practical matter.

He's out now, but that doesn't excuse not playing him more earlier in the regular season.

I'd take personally take Jrue (tier 5) before either Young (tier 2) or Lillard (tier 3) because I believe he's the more likely to get you additional wins on a good team. Trae Young strikes me as perhaps the No. 1 example of fools gold in the NBA. Lillard isn't what he was, and his lack of defense really shows up now.

The Milwaukee Bucks:

- Dumped Bud, fired his replacement who was winning, and hired Doc who’s been 500 and on a declining slope.

- Dumped Jrue who went to Boston and is a major reason they wrecked the EC

- Acquired Dame who is declining and is owed roughly 49, 54 and 59 million the next three season.

This is the classic example of "lies, damned lies, and statistics" example.

Mitchell has barely played.

No one is asking for Garland to be benched so Caris LeVert can start at PG. They know this.

This was the initial X, formerly known as a tweet.

I can show you plenty that have suggested DG is worth less than a bag of Doritos on here and in the X World, formerly known as Twitter. I also cannot even imagine local sports talk and what’s being suggested.

I'm convinced that Darius has a bum ankle. He's twisted it a few times then just tightened up his shoe laces. Watching the second half of the Suns game I just saw him do it again. Not a whole excuse, but possibly a factor affecting his ability to separate, and possibly his feel for his shots.

Dribbling off his foot to give PG13 an easy two didn't make me mad - just lol of course.

There’s nobody I have ever trusted less to make a shot late in a game than Darius Garland.
Considering he hit a big 3 to put the Cavs up by 7 late to simply not playing defense and drawing up crappy plays for a tired player. Not bad. Maybe, just maybe you should draw plays for Evan "franchise" Mobley? ?? You know, something Bickerstaff never does.

Garland was 4-for-9 in the fourth quarter and the only Cavalier able to effectively get his shot in the 4th..

Not sure he's the target for this one..

This weekend was probably the first time in 15 years I’ve chosen to not watch a Cavs game. This team is a mess. Garland’s whole game is trash. This is a result of a combination of his mentality AND his physical limitations as a player. The last possession doesn’t make me any angrier when it comes for DG. Besides, the only other player available to make a play would be LeVert. The Cavs have not given Mobley the keys to make plays with the ball on a regular basis.

Garland is too small to make effective finishes and passes in traffic on a consistent basis. He turns it over more often than he scores a successful finish or kick out pass from the lane.

He has no interest in early offense.

He consistently makes decisions in the air.

He pouts on the court.

His hair is never ready by tipoff.

Even when he plays his best defense, he’s a clear negative on that end.

Then you think about what he’s getting paid. Somehow I think he still has pretty high value. Garland AND JBB have to go.

And he was still good for at least 2 turnovers (that I counted) in the final 5 minutes. Like clockwork.

Even when he's good, he's bad.

I think under the right coach and on the right team he can still be an all star but he is unbelievably un clutch and badly needs a coach that can get him to play faster

I know this isn't a fair comparison, but I always thought this was going to be one of Garlands super powers and it's proven to not be at all...maybe one of his worst traits, he's pretty damn useless getting blitzed. Hell, we don't even really have anyone who plays it well. You'd hope that Mobley or Mitchell would do well, but until we have that guy...we are F-ed.
