We are 24 games into a season with a rookie and two guys who weren't on the team last year as 3 of our major minutes guys. We have the limitations presented by Okoro. And we have a guy we had lots of plays/looks for in Sexton get injured and out for the year.Possibly.
Why do we accept it though? Why do we now play in a way that makes everything depend on one guy? Why not create system that's more sustainable?
We played nothing like this to start the season, yet did well. What's changed?
You create a system that is sustainable over several YEARS.
Not 24 games
It's unreal, a lot of the looks Garland is taking and making are PART of the offense. it may be simple action, but it is part of the offense. The two previous games before this the ball movement was excellent.
Before it was a problem that Garland wasn't asserting himself enough on offense. Now, he's dominating on offense, taking shots he should be taking, and now THAT's a problem too.
Serenity now.
