Is he signed on to coach anyone in FIBA or the Olympics? I know he had several times before, I just didn't know if he was still involved in it.
Not a story, but it's fun to watch:
A David Blatt timeout compilation! http://t.co/OC2nEPJdZH— Rafael Uehara (@rafael_uehara) July 26, 2014
Did Coach K really have to dig down and get tough with those guys though?
I love his intensity. I just hope LeBron handles the challenge well similar to Pops/Duncan.
Just a concern. Blatt is an actual coach. Most of what LeBron has had were pushovers who kissed his ass. He seemed to love playing for Coach K in the Olympics though...
I wouldn't classify Spoelstra as a pushover. Certainly a weird guy, but a good coach and not a pushover. However, Pat Riley wouldn't fire him even if LeBron wanted it.I love his intensity. I just hope LeBron handles the challenge well similar to Pops/Duncan.

"David likes to say: 'The world's biggest concerns are world peace, world hunger and how to stop the pick and roll,'"
The thing I got from the interview was when they brought up Wiggins and Bennett he seemed to have to catch himself from talking about them in past tense like a deal is done. Also when he said "Well Andrew is gonna be a stud in this league and I'm happy for him and I really think he has the ability to be a tremendous player in this league" That just reads to me as a coach who knows he has all the talent in the world but isn't ready. That he'll be happy developing and leading his own team in Minnesota. Just to many things are falling into place to ignore it. From Love withdrawing to reports of Love asking to be traded to Cleveland. Blatt taking notes while watching Love and Irving lol...
My bad about the notes thing dunno what I was thinking. But I do think something has been agreed upon with Love backing out and all the other tea leaves. What he said about wiggins was just being cautious IMO, not nearly enough to read into. Also, Love wasnt even there, he said he was taking notes on Coach K
