I guess I'm not a believer in Caris and think he's better off the bench. Perhaps the starting doesn't matter, but I think Wade is a much better fit with the starting lineup.

I find it hard to argue against success.

The defense and passing LeVert brings the starting lineup has proven to be invaluable. He has especially succeeded in setting up bigs and involving them in offense. Concerns that he doesn't have the frame to defend small forwards were greatly exaggerated.

Add to this LeVert is currently leading the team in three point percentage, and any criticisms become moot.

I can’t argue against LeVerts success this far in the starting role… but to me it still begs the question: could we get even more from him in an optimal 6th man role? His defense and passing would fit in well at the helm of the second unit and he’d get to flex a little more offensively with some added usage.

As long as Cedi and Love are playing at the level they are… there’s no need to tinker, and once Rubio comes back we don’t need his playmaking on the second unit. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it and all that… Just pondering if we can be greedy and ask for even more out of LeVert, particularly if we see the second unit start to falter (a la Cedi after his hot start last year) or if LeVert’s outside shooting starts to normalize and we need a more reliable spot up guy in Wade to slide in.

I hope Deaner one day realizes how good he can be. I still see a little hesitation from him like he doesn’t feel like he belongs yet. He could be a reeeeally good player if he gets confident and aggressive.

When I think of Dean Wade I think of perfection and John Madden talking about a baby bucket.

its so nice he signed up long term, he's just a really nice player to have in the rotation for 25-30 mins a night

When I think of perfection, I think of Summerall and Madden teasing "Murder...

She Wrote."
