Nope. The flood gates have opened, and it’s now time to question MeToo. Weird. Why does this frequently happen?

This conversation quickly went from an on-topic discussion of Deshaun Watson, to this, with exactly one post that brought up a spongebob-memed "bElIeVe aLl WoMeN." Things like this were not mentioned previously in the thread up until that point.

I'll leave it up to that individual to explain his choices. I can't speak to the "why."

I'm not the one that called any of this a smear campaign. Pitchforks was used in jest. I'm not sure exactly what is false about any of this. I'm willing to listen to accusations and take them seriously. I just prefer to see more evidence before I take a stand one way or another.

No, I don't see the problem. Once again, i'm not the one that labeled anything a smear campaign. I only brought up that you could use the same logic in another case to declare it a smear campaign. I'm also not very interested in continuing this discussion. We seem to be in agreement about taking accusations seriously, and i'm willing to in this case.

Instead of responding coherently, you ignored the question asked and proclaimed "I never said anything was a smear campaign!"

Outside of a single post by @macbdog talking about a conspiracy that the McNairs are behind this, I can't find anyone definitively calling this a smear campaign. If you have a problem with that @macbdog post, then we're in agreement. But, we both know that single post is not what you're talking about. The next closest thing is @Jack Brickman saying that, when presented with the initial evidence, he felt this might be a smear campaign.

Someone talking about which way they're leaning based off initial evidence is different than stating something definitively.

And Iets just cut the bullshit- the initial reaction here to this drew along whether you supported Watson wanting out of Houston and the initial report was scoffed at as a conspiracy. Everyone here is capable of clicking on the first few pages and reading for themselves. The index has a lower resolution panel (but same excellent blur busting low persistence LCD) and the knuckle controllers alone cost as much as the quest 2. the index is also never in stock and costs a grand for the entire setup. You also need to setup boxes in your room space. The real deathblow is the fact that it's wired. I can't pull up the post but hilariously enough those expensive knuckle controllers also apparently makes it difficult to watch porn while you do your business. Also because of the wire I read complaints about laying down in bed to do your business. It's extremely difficult to recommend the Index over the quest 2 which is frankly superior and cheaper.

I almost went with the Reverb 2 for the headset because of the best-in-class resolution, but the refresh rate, field of vision, and build quality of the Index won me over. Plus the knuckles and the base stations are best in class as well.

If they came out with a wireless Index, I'd buy it. But the wire situation isn't bad. It's less inconvenient than I expected.

Had friends playing Beat Saber last night. This thing's a blast.
