So the Destiny "expansion," The Dark Below, is set to release on December 9th and contains a pretty insulting amount of content given the twenty dollar price tag:
- 1 raid, Crota's End.
- 2 strikes for PS4 players, 1 for Xbots.
- 3 story missions, all of which are Hive-centered and on the moon.
- 3 multiplayer maps.
- Light cap raised to 32.
- New weapons and armor.
No doubt in my mind that all of this was cut out from the retail game to be sold back to players as DLC. Calling it an expansion is in and of itself a bit of a joke given that it doesn't actually expand to anywhere other than a planet we've already been to.
In case you're wondering, Xbone players don't get a discount. They pay the same and get one less strike.
