I'm frustrated big time today. I have about 40lbs to lose and I am trying to do it by eating healthy and working out. I lift 3 days a week (Stretches, Planks, Bench, Squats, Dips, Rows). It's about 30 minutes and there are some variations but those are the basic muscle groups I'm working on. I have been on a lower carb diet. Not perfect but certainly have reduced my carb and sugar intake over the last 2+ weeks. Weighed in today and I'm up 4.4lbs over 16 days. Clearly i'm not doing this right. I know muscle weighs more than fat but this seems out of whack.
I haven't mixed cardio in and that's probably been where I'm missing the most. Thoughts?
Edit- I also had a killer work out Sunday AM after my ex pissed me off on text. I was an animal
