Dilfer likely to be traded to San Fran...

I just saw on ESPNews that Dilfer is likely to be traded to the 49er's sometime this week. We won't be able to get more than a 5th or 6th round pick for him... maybe we should go after Collins so there is a back up plan if Frye doesn't come through this year.

Nah, I think Collins would be realistic, he can't seriously think he should be a starter at this point, he'd probably be content to audition for a role. Some place like Cleveland or Baltimore are about his only chances left.

I would think Collins would be a realistic option. Right now of the teams supposedly interested in him, Cleveland would give him the best chance to play.

Collins would be a big upgrade over Dilfer. I'd much rather have him as a veteran option.

One of the dudes on Sirius NFL network(Wilcots) said that Dilfer will be traded, and Collins more than likely will be signed.
