There’s nothing on Donovan that’s 3’9”….. Especially that VORP….If he was 3’9” he’d still be better than Sexton.

Just found this video on Donovan. It's a little out-of-date, but it summarizes Mitchell's impact well.
I lean the same way as you on this comparison. But Donovan needs some rings to bolster his legacy compared to Wade, and I think he's in the right place to get them. That's why I say it's too early to make any definitive comparisons.I've watched a lot of Wade, and from what I've seen of Mitchell, he is every bit of Wade and better. Shooting isn't even a question, he is an elite shooter, where Wade was poor outside but was a decent midrange shooter. As from other posters above, I have never seen such a complete offensive player. Mitchell's awareness, poise, BBIQ and countless other intangibles, enable him to dice through a defense with ease and get his shot, which is a marvel to watch. I continue to be impressed that he keeps hitting those tough shots. They just keep falling. If he can just get some more rest and stay fresh for the postseason run, this will continue to be a special season. Call me a Donovam Mitchell fanboy!

I think if Mitchell was 6-5, 6-6, with his skill-set, he'd be a perennial MVP candidate.Wade was a much better defender than is Mitchell, and that counts for at least something.
Yes this is very fair. Mitchell has a ways to go there..Wade was a much better defender than is Mitchell, and that counts for at least something.
