With two big men in the paint the risk of slashing diminishes almost to zero, and they have to resort to either threes or post ups, which we defend fine so far.

Ok so this is what i wanted from Love and LeBron’s post ups on Sunday.


Game 1 both men caught the post up and sat there for 17 seconds surveying the court which allowed the Celtics to send uber effective doubles.


If you go right in after the catch Boston now has to decide immediately if they should double or not and looking at this game it looks like they don’t want to double blindly
