ECF | Game 5 | Cavs (2-2) @ Boston (2-2) | May 23rd, 2018 | 8:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Because they're pretty average. Thats how average works. You aren't average every time out. Youre good. Then youre bad.

We look good when guys like JR Smith and George Hill look good. But those are two very average players who are rather prone to games like this.

We have LeBron. That's still a trump card and can win this series.

Why people are fooling themselves into challenging in the next series I have no idea.

I saw it live when Orlando's bunch of averages managed to shoot 99% from 3 while Dwight Howard went 85-85 on free throws.

Who's to say we can't do that against the Rockets? No chance against GS though.

Lue basically threw the game when he didn't insert Korver in the 1st quarter. It was incredible really.

The team was completly stalled offensively, ship was sinking, it was clear as day by the 7th min mark that Boston would open up. And Korver is glued to the bench.

LeBron seems to be tired, this is the most important thing. Without Hill and JR, chances are slim... but if LeBron shows up with energy, anything can happen.

Why not give Jose some mins? See if he can spark the bench?

Hell throw Cedi in to guard Tatum. Green and JR are killing us.

Pretty remarkable this collection of trash could be in the nba finals...probably the worst team ever.

Next year give me james and leonard and assortment of role players and we will be fine

I’d almost rather see Hood/Clarkson than JR right now if Lue won’t play Cedi

Very true. Those guys do everything equal or better than JR, except 3s. And JR can't hit the side of a barn right now. And somehow his shot selection has been worse than Jordan Clarksons

Cmon coach i dare you to start Cedi in the second half. You don’t have the balls!

Such an awful decision

I'm not even concerned, I'll give the Cs credit for hitting their open 3s and playing good initial defense, but the Cavs have looked like shit. Feel like LBJ is going to have a big 2nd half along with some guys hitting 3s

Need to make extra passes, so many guys taking contested 3s.

I would put Hood in with the starters, keep him away from Clarkson and the bench group. Korver needs to be the SG when LeBron sits, at least he will put up good shots.

When we make the finals, and we still will. It's going to be painful to watch no matter who we play.

Not convinced we can win a single game against either team we go against.

If LeBron sits when Korver is playing, he won't get the ball enough to put up shots lol.

Wade was pretty cancerous behind the scenes though
This is where going 7 games with Indiana comes back to haunt us...

Then again if we had Wade that series would have been over in 5 and we'd probably be closing out the Celtics in 5 as well.

Hill played too many minutes for hill in game 4. I keep expecting him to get a breather but he has to play the whole damn quarter

Hill or Jr should be the first guy to go out. but Lue is building noahs arc so he has to take out 2 at a time

JR definitely should of gone out 5 minutes in when marcus smart and morris came in.
then Clarkson is actually playing well and you cant just bring in hill nope now your starters except LeBron are cold from sitting on the bench for 7 minutes and they gotta come in all at once spread out over 20 seconds... just enough to offset whatever positive momentum the bench had put in.

People are still in here shitting all over Love when our starting backcourt is 0-4 from the field with two turnovers, a rebound, and two assists.

If it wasn't for Love, this game is over already.
Only the refs were able to shutdown Love. That bogus foul on Love really mess the Cavs up.
