Another outstanding episode!

Couple things:

1. New York is Red Hot was a great intro - I've seen Digable Planets twice, off one of my top 50 all time albums, and it's still a sick cut. Unfortunately the Knicks have been red hot since they got Hart.

2. Jig sounded exhausted here overall, which I identify with personally, but broke out a brave and fascinating digression with the "corny" talk. Great instincts and I can feel how comfortable you two are with being free and breezy. That's great stuff.

3. The term for the sweep ruined by the NBA overlords pushing it to a 4-1 win is "gentleman's sweep." It's one of the great gifts of the weird first few rounds of LeBron teams. We can call it what it is.

Keep it up gents!

One of the better live shows I've been too. Saw them about 2017 or 18 with Camp Lo opening for them and was not prepared. They got on stage around 10pm and did a 2 hour set but the entire crowd (mostly my age) all stayed for the entire show like we were underclassmen preparing to skip class in the morning

It was epic.

Budafly live is like a hip hop professor

Ladybug and Doodlebug were having a drink off unofficially but I was able to referee since me and my date had forced our way up front to the stage. I counted 6 tequila's for Ladybug and no less than 10 Henny Doubles for Doodlebug, who was only able to provide adlibs about an hour into the show :chuckle:

Sounds like I’ll have to pep up my delivery for the next one.

We landed on Pacifics after some early discussion of Camp Lo’s:

@RchfldCavRaised did Camp Lo-ah look like Marvin Gaye and Joe Frazier circa 1973 up there on stage?

Camp Lo-ahhhhhhhh is how they said it no less than 20x during their half hour set.

And yes, they were dressed as if they just came from a photo shoot for the cover of Word Up magazine in 1994
