ESPN Suing The Ohio State University

I don't think of it as ESPN hating OSU, but knowing that pretty much everyone in the country outside of the state of Ohio, hates OSU. They're just feeding into the majority. Is it fair? No. Will it get more hits/comments than anything Oregon related? You bet your ass it will.

OSU is the villian of College athletics, you either love them or hate them and no matter what the story is it's more worthy of getting face time than Chizik getting into a verbal spat with some NCAA rep. Embrace the hate!

Meh. I think theres more than that. Jim Delaney gave espin a big FU when he created the BTN. ESPN got punked out of, literally, BILLIONS of dollars by a conference commissioner. What better why to try and exact revenge by taking down their current top program, which is OSU football.

And OSU knows this. Which is why OSU is hiding behind the FERPA law. They gave whatever is in those emails to the NCAA a long time ago, and releasing them to anyone wont do anything to hurt OSU. Basically OSU's way of saying FU to espin.

No, OSU is good annually. Regardless, of any BTN and this stuff still happened they would still be getting slammed. If this was Wisconsin or Nebraska and they had the same dominance in the Big Ten as OSU has in recent history they wouldn't be getting near the attention. It may be a combination of BTN network backlash and an OSU bias but anything OSU sells, especially when OSU is getting hammered.
