Fantasy Football 2020!!!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In a contract league, do you guys think I should hold on to Darrell Henderson at four dollars or cut him and incur $1 in dead money in the draft, but gain an additional roster spot to draft someone potentially better?

This is my team situation right now (note: 2QB league):

QB - Kyler Murray - $15, 3 years remaining
QB - Sam Darnold - $12, 3 years remaining

RB - Nick Chubb - $12, 2 years remaining
RB - Aaron Jones - $1, 2 years remaining

WR - Chris Godwin - $1, 2 years remaining
WR - Tyler Lockett - $2, 1 year remaining
WR - DK Metcalf - $3, 3 years remaining
WR - Cooper Kupp - $7, 1 year remaining

TE - TJ Hockenson - $5, 3 years remaining

I've already decided to cut David Njoku, Derrius Guice, and N'Keal Harry for a total dead money hit of around $7, and have probably $10 or so more from dead money from previous years. I feel like I'm in a good position to make a title run this year given that I have a pretty damn solid group of players for a quarter of my entire budget, or around a third when you account for dead money. I just need another legit QB and more depth at the skill positions, but I've got a top five QB, a top five WR, and a top ten RB, which is a damn good start.

Thoughts?

Rankings I use have him as RB31 in dynasty, but he's behind Akers who is listed as RB20. I think a lot is going to have to happen for him to be a useful contributor to your lineup.

I have the 3rd pick in a best-ball eliminator league. Do I just take Zeke, change it up with Thomas, or someone else? (PPR, 16 teams)

Yeah that's how I feel too, but was considering keeping him due to how cheap he was on the off chance he ended up being the guy in LA this year. I think I'd prefer the roster spot, though. Lot of great deals to be had at the end of these drafts, hence how I've got Godwin under contract for a buck and Metcalf for three.

I'd probably just take Zeke, or whatever RB you like better.

Had my keeper league draft over the weekend. 10 team PPR, 2QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2Flex. I made a deal to get Mahomes to go with Lamar Jackson and Michael Thomas as my 3 keepers. I was weak at RB, but I like my team overall.

QB: Pat Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Philip Rivers
RB: David Johnson, Mark Ingram, D'Andre Swift, Tarik Cohen, Duke Johnson, Boston Scott
WR: Michael Thomas, Allen Robinson, Tyler Boyd, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, Sterling Shepherd
TE: Austin Hooper, Mike Gesicki

What say ye?

Second draft finished just now. PPR 12 team, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex...

QB: Dak Prescott, Daniel Jones
RB: Miles Sanders, Nick Chubb, James Conner, Tarik Cohen, Boston Scott
WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster, Devante Parker, Julian Edelman, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Williams
TE: Hayden Hurst, Dallas Goedert
PK: Gould
D: Minny

Usually refrain from grabbing QB and TE backups in a 12 teamer, but with Covid, I wanted to be safe.

Made a trade in my pay dynasty league. It's a 10-teamer with limited starters. Not my call, but this is a home league with friends so I'm not leaving. Plus, my team is awesome.

I gave: David Johnson, Duke Johnson, Keenan Allen, 2021 2nd rounder
I got: Davante Adams

Now my starting lineup is Rodgers, Barkley, Mixon, Chubb, Adams, Godwin, and Engram. My bench consists of Jonathan Taylor, Cam Akers, OBJ, Tyler Lockett, DJ Chark, Terry McLaurin, Diontae Johnson, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, TJ Hockenson, and Hunter Henry.

Next project is a quarterback upgrade, as I've got Rodgers, Mayfield, and Haskins, plus Hurts on my taxi squad. A passable group, especially if Haskins pans out, but I'd love to get someone like Russell Wilson to be my number one.

How do you think Godwin and Calvin Ridley will do this year?

How do you think Godwin and Calvin Ridley will do this year?

Godwin I expect to regress a bit after last year because of how good he was, but I really don't know since Tampa's situation has changed considerably with Brady coming in. Arians was basically using him in the Larry Fitz role last year, though, which bodes well for his continued production.

Ridley should kill it this year. I don't think he's quite this year's Godwin, though, as he's just not the athlete that Godwin is. He's not going to rack up YAC like Godwin can as a result, but he's virtually guaranteed a fuckton of targets, which is a recipe for fantasy success.

10 teamer turned into an 8 teamer this year because 2 owners didn't want to play this year. Teams are ridiculous with this number of teams.

QB: Dak Prescott
RB: Josh Jacobs, Derrick Henry, Miles Sanders, Leveon Bell
WR: Kenny Golladay, AJ Brown, Robert Woods, Keenan Allen, Tyler Boyd, AJ Green
TE: Darren Waller

Short bench, so I'm going to have to drop one of my WR most likely to start a TE week 6. There is no flex, so I'm going to be choosing between Henry, Jacobs and Sanders each week for RB. So dumb.

My $200 fourteen team standard point system auction league roster. We had a $215 salary cap for the draft with a $100 payroll for free agency. Here’s my current roster. I did makes some moves after the draft so I’ll include those.

STARTERS

QB: Russell Wilson...........$18
RB: Nick Chubb...............$58
RB: Cam Akers................$19
WR: Amari Cooper...........$37
WR: Cooper Kupp...........$23
TE: Evan Engram..............$4
Flex: Kareem Hunt............$7
DEF: San Francisco.........$11
K: Harrison Butker............$6

BENCH

Baker Mayfield (acquired via trades post draft)
Anthony Miller (acquired via trade post draft)
Henry Riggs.....................$15
Hunter Henry....................$1
Alexander Mattison..........$1
James Washington..........$0 (post draft FA)

I had drafted AJ Green for $6 but traded him for Baker Mayfield who went for $1 because I didn’t have the $2 to put it the team that put him up. It was a risky trade for me but I’m banking on Green going down again. If AJ stays healthy, though, this trade could possibly derail my season and cost me that $1500 first place money.

I picked up Washington after the Baker trade when I cut Kurt Cousins whom I drafted for $1.

Anthony Miller ($1) was acquired when I traded Jerry Jeudy ($3). When the trade was proposed, I was going to disregard it, but after thinking about it, I figured I probably didn’t need 2 rookie WRs on my team and Miller is a starter with some success. Figure both Jeudy, or Miller wouldn’t survive the year on my roster anyways.

Ten team leagues are always stacked. Can't imagine being in an eight teamer. Every team is going to be insane in that format.

Man Chris Godwin or Mike Evans?

Man Chris Godwin or Mike Evans?

I'd take Godwin simply because I think he'll be used in a role that is more conducive to consistent fantasy production. Last year, Arians used him in the slot+ role that he used Larry Fitzgerald in when he was with the Cardinals and it was a fantasy gold mine. I think that will continue to be the case this year as well, and Brady loves a good slot receiver.

I think Evans will be productive as well but much like last year I think he'll give you a lot of boom or bust weeks.
