I think we all know the unfortunate inevitable is coming when it comes to Big Bick — so let’s throw some names out there of interest…

Obviously I think if Hubie Brown and/or Bobby Jackson come calling you have to take that call…. A little old school and a little new school….Both fine candidates to take this to the next level..

Bobby Jackson

Those 2 are givens…. But what if you don’t want to go extreme ? No old school, no new school and want to play it safe ?

Well then I think obviously Mike Budenholzer is your play… Obviously a world championship caliber head coach — has not only taken multiple teams to the next level, but is a real X’s & O’s kinda man…

What say you ?

I don't know why I thought this would be a serious thread before I opened it
I’m not sure why you commented on it if you’re not gonna contribute..

How about this, who’s your guy, Shoes ?

Want Redick ?
Bud ?
Doc ?
Wait to see who gets fired ? If the Pistons fire Monty you want Monty ?
Luke Walton ?
Sam Cassell ?
Nate McMillian ?
David Adelman comes from a fine coaching tree and is in an innovative mind….
Adrian Griffin ?

What say you, Shoes ? :)

If JBB is cut loose, it’s likely because the stars are tired of him. Second round and a loss to the Celtics in an injury plagued season is enough to survive if the main guys still want him. So, if he goes, you are probably not looking for a similar voice. JBB = players coach, good with young guys, not great at the rest. New coach = respect from vets, better X & O.

I dont think it matters for the stars, this team needs a new voice and a new offense. I am for Bud, but I am sure I can be talked into others.

New voice, young blood. Young up and coming offensive mind. I don’t care if they Come from college or assistant. Not a defensive minded guy. I want a guy who will hold the stars accountable, but most importantly I want a guy who can see where the nba is headed offensively and adapt.

I think what we have to keep in mind (and i think this should matter a lot) i doubt Donovan, turning 28 soon, wants to play for a rookie head coach whom it might take 1 or 2 years to adjust to being a head coach.
That's why i'm also for hiring Bud and don't get me wrong, he's far from flawless as well but of the available former head coaches he's by far the best option

no convinced JB is fired. Even if we get swept. One of the two need to go. It’s not a match

  • Quinn
  • Jordi (Or did the Nets hire him? I know there was interest but never saw an announcement)
  • Hammond
  • Bud (Meh)
  • Reddick (Odd one given his lack of experience)
  • Ollie?
  • Cassell?
All I know is that I sure hope they get someone who can actually scheme.
