Pierce will probably fake cry his eyelashes off during the ring ceremony, ala Oprah, run to the locker room, and return 30 seconds later, with full eyelashes. I have the Cavs winning in a very close game. Great game thread, too!

Im excited. I really want to see what we can do to the celtics tomorrow. We win by 10 and KG and AV get ejected(they will fight). JJ Hickson gets in the game and gets 10 and 5. He has 2 monsterous dunks, and lebron gets 25 8 rebounds and 7 assists and mo gets 20 and 8 assists.

I tell ya what man, there wont be any more intense game than this tomorrow night. Guaranteed.

I remember coaches and players from both teams in our series sayin how it was a defensive dog fight out there. KG said he ould believe the intensity in game 1.

It wonnt be a shitty little opener like the Dallas game last year, this is gonna be by far the game of the night for all basketball fans.

I am just excited to get this season underway. I see the cavs winning 55 games this year, Lebron getting MVP, and we might even see the hated Mike Brown get coach of the year. I know the second part might be a stretch, but LBJ and Mo are going to make him look like a genious.

Looks like LeBron and company are with you.

So much for that theory about the Cavaliers getting motivated by watching the Boston Celtics receive their championship rings and hoist another championship banner Tuesday night in T.D. Banknorth Garden.

LeBron James revealed on Monday that the Cavs will sit this one out. They'll wait in the locker room until the hoopla is over.

"We don't need to be out there watching that, we need to get ready for the game," James said before the team left for Boston. Congratulations to them. But we're not [like] the fans of Boston. We don't need to be out there clapping for them getting rings."
