Game 1: Wizards @ Cavs, Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 7 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Don't ask me man. I really really like him as our head coach, but I was absolutely furious yesterday whenever Walton was in the game. Throwing stuff mad...almost broke my calculator and I have a Fluids exam today :chuckles:

Really though Byron explained it as "the offense flows better with Luke right now" which means he felt more comfortable with a veteran and got stubborn about it. He made the wrong choice, and we can only help he adjusts from it. He said he had planned to play Samardo going into the game.

Yeah. I just think there is no reason to play certain guys. Let the other players learn and grow.

Is it completely out of the realm of possibility that Byron didn't mind putting Kyrie, Dion, et al in a situation where they actually had to close out a tight game as opposed to running out the time in a semi-blowout?

They both came up big along with AV. I don't mind it at all. We can talk about talent all day, but if both of these guys turn into big time Clutch performers, the team is going to be in a good position pretty quickly.

I also like Byron Scott, but he has definitely been criticized for his rotations. He complicates things sometimes because he plays so many guys, usually 10.

I prefer to see teams play to win (unless the tank is on). Maximize what you have in a game, teach during practice.

I'm still not going to call the bench God-awful until I see Omri, Samardo, and Jon Leuer play.

Walton and Sloan were terrible.

I was really disappointed with CJ Miles. He seemed completely out of control on every possession!

So, you are saying he wasn't trying his best? If that is the case then he shouldn't be the Head Coach.

None of the 10 players on the bench play well with any consistency. I'm sure Byron will keep rotating players in and out from game to game, until he finds a bench unit that plays together well consistently. Until then, we will see continue Walton and Omri and whatever other re-treads we have on the bench until someone else shows on a regular basis that they can play better.

Why would it take time for Scott to figure out who is good and who isn't? He either is a really bad coach or is being told to play certain guys so we will lose. There is no other reason to play some of the guys we did last night.

Or, maybe, the other guys like Samardo and Casspi suck too.

Casspi is the worst player at any level of basketball in the world...so yes.
