The difference between 2009 and 2014 Lebron is 5 years in a high impact sport. You can't expect the same player physically and just because he's not doesn't mean he's hurt.
Him playing at the elite level that he is also doesn't mean he ISN'T hurt. Could end up getting confirmation that he is in the next couple weeks.
Either way, I think expectations need to be tempered as to LeBron's athleticism. You're going to watch it fall off, maybe even to a disturbing degree if he stays here for another 4-5 years. He's not the same guy he was and he shouldn't be.
What you want to see him do is what the other great ones did and it's to either hit the post more often and work a fadeway or drop step and increase their skill set out on the perimeter. He's certainly improved his perimeter game to an incredible degree, so he's on the way.
FWIW...his handles have never been that good. That play last night seemed like it was less a result of a physical issue and more a result of trying to do too much without looking at the open players to his left.
