Do you think it is they had no faith in JT? If not why start him? I'm so confused by the atrocious gameplan. We've had some terrible ones this year, but this takes the cake.I really hope the Columbus media doesn't skimp out on the tough questions. I mean it has to be point blank asked of Urban if the game plan was to never attempt to throw the ball at all.
Again, the wind is/was bad. But when they had the wind at their backs in the 3rd, you have to at least try.

If MSU has to play O'Connor again, they could very well lose to Penn State. Won't matter though since scUM is going to tap that ass
They took Zeke away. Thats like a team not trying to run Adrian Peterson.Part of me thinks they tried to hold things back because Michigan State was playing a back-up QB and they thought they could squeak by this game and then actually use the playbook next week. Elliot carried the ball twice in the second half. Like........................hello?

Again, you didn't see Michigan State winging the ball around the field either. The wind is still howling here, so I get some of the fear. But they also barely gave the ball to Zeke, so I honestly have no idea what they plan was.
I agree with that. But the thing is they still threw the ball. They gave the ball to their playmakers, which you accurately pointed out, we did not. Just an awful gameplan.Part of me thinks they tried to hold things back because Michigan State was playing a back-up QB and they thought they could squeak by this game and then actually use the playbook next week. Yeah, I mean I would understand if the plan was to run Elliot to victory, but he had 12 attempts, only 2 in the second half and all of them very vanilla up the middle runs. Many of them weren't even read option runs.
I don't get it...
Mark May
Meyer just said he was not content with the play calling.
No shit.
