The thing that sticks out in that post is the kidnapping of Joe Smith. It's a good plan, send our 2 biggest guys and enforcers in LeBron and Ben...no need to dress up to hide their identities, no one will pick a fight.

And really, no joke; THAT Scott Brooks was a member at RCF? WTF? And is the Vinny del Nego part true too, he used to post here???

Better send Redz too. I bet he would be freaking crazy in a fight. He grew up in the hood of DC and the hill country of Virginia, he's a pretty freaking scrappy fellow.

In all seriousness though, do you think there is any chance Joe could arrange a buyout with OKC? Joe is only playing like 16 minutes on a terribly failing team. Considering he is rapidly approaching retirement, it would be reasonable for them to let him out of his contract so he can go to a contending team. Would it be against league rules for the Cavs to contact Smith and let him know they would be interested if he could arrange a buyout?

I would bet on it happening sometime soon. I think they like his calming veteran presence for their young guys but eventually they will have to do the right thing and cut Joe loose so he can chase that ring with us...

Man I would love to have Joe Smith back. He'd be a huge help to this team right now, especially in clutch time. Granted...we haven't needed too much clutch work because we've been blowing teams out but we could use the guy for 15-20 a game.

I would reallly like to get Joe Smith back as well. If that could possibly happen, and we could trade Wally, Sasha, and maybe a first (if needed) for VC, we would be favorites for NBA champs, with our lineup being:

LeBron/VC/Kinsey
Ben/Joe
Z/AV

If we can't get Joe, maybe the Nets would throw in Sean Williams.

Didn't know where else to put this, but Bogut will be out 7-10 days for the Bucks. Looks like our road game in Milwaukee will be even easier this week. Now the only game that worries me at all in this 4 games in 5 days stint is Golden State, but at least we've shown we can easily beat the up tempo teams (Denver, Knicks, etc.).
